Cut Story
The Steakhouse Starter Bundle exists because most people who want to try our program do not want to commit to a half share on the first order. The bundle is the answer. You get a meaningful taste of the F1 Wagyu Cross program across three cuts (ribeye, strip, filet) and five pounds of the 80/20 ground that anchors our burger menu. It is the cleanest way to compare cuts side by side and figure out which one belongs on your repeat order.
Each cut in the bundle is the same spec we sell individually. The ribeyes are bone-in, 1.5 inch cut, 1.6 lb each. The strips are 1.25 inch cut, 0.85 to 1 lb each. The filets are 1.75 inch cut, 0.5 to 0.6 lb each. The ground is in five 1 lb chubs. Total package weight runs 10 to 11 lb depending on the individual cut weights.
Every cut in the bundle traces to one of our animals. We do not blend supply for bundles. The lot codes on the vacuum packs identify the harvest. If you order the bundle twice, the second one will come from a different animal, with different lot codes, but the same program, same ranch, same finish standard.
Marbling and Grading
Target BMS: 6 to 8 across the rib and short loin cuts (ribeye, strip, filet). USDA grade equivalent: high Choice to low Prime. Ground beef built from rib and short loin trim plus chuck, blended to 80/20 with intramuscular Wagyu cross fat (no added suet).
How It Ships
All cuts individually vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen at minus 30 F. Packed in one insulated cooler with reusable gel packs sized to your zip code’s transit window. Ships from Colorado City, Arizona via two-day ground or overnight depending on distance.
Suggested Cooking Method

Q: Can I substitute cuts? A: Not in the standard bundle. If you want a custom mix, email us and we can build one. The Steakhouse Starter is fixed because it is designed to compare the three core cuts.

Storage Instructions
Keep frozen at zero F until ready to use. Thaw each cut in the refrigerator the day before cooking (timing varies by cut: filet 12 to 18 hours, strip 18 to 24 hours, ribeye 24 to 36 hours). Ground beef thaws in 12 to 18 hours. Cook within 3 days of thaw.
