F1 Wagyu Cross Half Share
Real Meat. Ranch Direct. Half of one F1 Wagyu Cross steer, cut to your spec, vacuum-sealed, flash-frozen. $16 per pound on the half share rate. Launches March 2027. Reservations open Q4 2026.
Cut Story
The F1 Wagyu Cross half share is the upgrade path from our Black Angus share program. Same model: half of one steer, cut to your spec, processed at a USDA-inspected facility. The difference is the animal. Where the Black Angus share is built from our base herd, the F1 Wagyu Cross share comes from animals sired by a Full Blood Wagyu bull on our Black Angus dams. The calf is 50 percent Wagyu by genetics and carries the marbling profile that puts the steaks in the BMS 6 to 8 range and the ground beef into a category that does not exist at the commodity grocery counter.
A share of an F1 Wagyu Cross animal lets you stock a freezer with every cut at the Wagyu cross price point: ribeyes, NY strips, filets, sirloins, flat irons, skirts, flanks, chuck and round roasts, briskets, short ribs, stew meat, ground, and bones if you want them. The per-pound rate is significantly higher than our Angus share because the genetics, feed cost, and finish window are all different. The value is that you are getting two of each premium cut, every ground chub at the Wagyu cross spec, every brisket and short rib from one animal that traces to one harvest.
We are launching this program in March 2027. The reservation window opens Q4 2026.
Marbling and Grading
Target BMS: 6 to 8 on the Japanese scale across the rib and short loin. USDA grade equivalent: high Prime. Other primals (chuck, round) grade lower by structure but still significantly above commodity Angus.

What’s Different About Circle 7
The F1 Wagyu Cross share at this scale is rare in the U.S. direct-to-consumer market. Most Wagyu cross is sold by the cut, not the share, because the supply chains that move premium beef cannot keep one animal intact for one customer. We can, because we raise the animal ourselves. The share traces to one ear tag, one harvest date, one set of records. Ranch direct at the Wagyu cross share level is the model nobody else can run at this scale.
Customer FAQs
Q: When does the program launch? A: March 2027. Reservations open Q4 2026.
Q: Why is it more expensive than the Angus share? A: F1 Wagyu Cross animals require a longer finish window (roughly 150 days longer than commodity Angus), a more expensive ration, and the calves themselves cost more because of the Wagyu sire. The price reflects those inputs.
Q: What cuts are included? A: Same cut profile as the Black Angus half share: ribeyes, strips, filets, sirloins, flat iron, flank, skirt, chuck roasts, brisket, round roasts, short ribs, stew meat, ground, bones if you want them.
Q: How much freezer space do I need? A: A standard 7 to 9 cubic foot chest freezer.
Q: How do I reserve a spot? A: Reservations open Q4 2026. Email us to be added to the early access list ([INSERT EMAIL]).
Q: Is the price locked at $16/lb? A: We will publish the final per-pound rate when reservations open Q4 2026. $16/lb is the projected rate based on our current production cost.
Q: Can I get the whole share instead? A: Yes. The F1 Wagyu Cross Whole Share is $15/lb (a $1/lb savings over the half rate).
